How to find a profitable niche
Let’s start by looking at a couple of resources that I use all the time. I have found that one of the most profitable ways to find a profitable niche is to check to see if any books have been written about that particular subject.
A great resource that I use all the time to find a profitable niche is the dummies book series. If you are at all familiar with the different books for dummies that have been created with the title something for dummies then you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Find a profitable niche by using Google.
Go to Google and do a search for books for dummies. This is a very big, very profitable company and they've spent their resources trying to discover profitable niches to write books about. They've spent their money doing the research and we can just go to their website and look at all the books they've written. They feel there is a need to write a book about how to solve a particular problem. This could very well be a very profitable niche.

To find a profitable niche just go to the dummies.com website where they are listed in alphabetical order on subjects they thought were important enough to write books about. Take a moment to check out those categories and see if there is something that resonates with you.
If their researchers felt strongly enough about developing a book for that particular niche, then you have to believe that this may be a profitable niche.

If you find a profitable niche that particularly resonates with you then the next thing you want to think about is how you would create a one page website for that niche.

Now remember we are just doing research. We have not decided on exactly what product we want to promote. Remember the products will come later. What we want to do now is proved to ourselves that we have a profitable niche and now we're going to research some keywords in that niche.

We now go to Google, use their keyword research tool to see how often our niche is being searched for on the World Wide Web.
What we're looking for here is how often our main keyword in our niche is being searched for. What other relative terms are also being searched for, and how many searches per month are actually happening for different keywords that we may want to use.

High volume low Competition;

You will discover many keywords that are highly searched for in your profitable niche. However you are looking for keyword with a relatively good volume in search, with the least amount of competition. I personally look for keywords with at least 3000 searches per month, with the least amount of competition.

This is only one of the many resources I use to find a profitable niche. This article is the second article in a series of many articles that I am writing about finding a profitable niche. To view the whole series at once go to my website. Online affiliate marketing info.com. There you will find many articles dedicated to finding a profitable niche as an online affiliate marketer.
